MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024823 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'hand and feet coordination based mobility exercise device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Supriya Agnihotri; Sunny Dhuman; Dr. Saurabh Sharma; Deepika Thakur; and Ankita Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hand and feet coordination based mobility exercise device, comprising an inverted U-shaped frame 1 positioned over a ground surface by means of a pair of suction units 2 positioned beneath frame 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed over the frame 1 to determines height of the toddler, a pair of telescopic bars 4 installed over the frame 1 that are actuated by microcontroller to extend in view of positioning a sprocket 5 configured with each of bars 4 by means of a pair of links, a pair of gripping units 6 attached with each of the sprocket 5 by means of a crank arm that is grasped by toddler by hands and feet of toddler to apply pressure over gripping units 6 for rotating sprocket 5 on axis via a metallic chain engaged over sprocket 5."
