MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641044219 A) filed by Aditya University; Aditya College Of Engineering And Technology; Aditya College Of Pharmacy; and Aditya Degree College, Surampalem, Andhra Pradesh, on April 7, for 'hammer-mounted nail holding accessory for safe nail initiation and method thereof.'

In one embodiment herein, the hammer-mounted nail holding accessory (100) comprises a clamp member (102), a main frame (108), a coupling element (116), an adjustable frame (112) and an adjustable locking member (118). The hammer-mounted nail holding accessory (100) enables safe nail (14) initiation by eliminating direct finger contact with the nail (14) during initial hammering operations, thereby reducing the risk of finger injuries. The hammer-mounted nail holding accessory (100) reduces nail (14) bending, misalignment, and rework during hammering operations, thereby improving overall efficiency and productivity."
