MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025517 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'hair patch manufacturing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Mannat Bains; Jasvir Kaur; and Kanika.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hair patch manufacturing assistive device, comprising a hollow cylindrical body 1 configured with multiple supporting rods 2 positioned on a fixed surface, a multi-sectioned chamber 3 stores almonds, oil and cotton, a display panel 4 accessed by the user to input details regarding a quantity of hair patch the user desires, a pair of robotic grippers 5 extracts the evaluated amount from the chamber 3, an opening for filling combustible fuel inside the container 6, an ultrasonic sensor detects the thickness of the wick, a motorized iris aperture closes to grip the wick, an electric igniter 7 ignites the end portion of the wick, a metallic plate accumulates black texture smoke generated from combustion of almonds, cotton and oil, an imaging unit 8 captures images of surroundings, a motorized horizontal blade 9 scrap the layer from the plate, an electronic nozzle 11 stores aloe vera solution."
