MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641022333 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 25, for 'gyro guard an intelligent cane for elderly individuals.'

The device integrates real-time sensing, intelligent decision-making, and automated mechanical response to reduce fall incidence.
