MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621013357 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Feb. 6, for 'guarder rail straightening device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A guarder rail straightening device comprising a platform 101 with plurality of telescopic rods 102 to extend and retract for positional adjustment, a hydraulic press assembly 111 coupled to pressing plate 112 to apply controlled pressing force onto a guarder rail, a pair of gripping members 103 to securely hold and translate the guarder rail for straightening operations, a flat support panel 105 arranged to support the guarder rail from below during pressing, a heating rod 106 configured to provide thermal assistance during straightening, an AI enabled camera 107 to capture rail images and assist in bending detection, a touch enabled display panel 108 for real-time data and a speaker 109 and microphone 110 for audio interaction."
