MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073944 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'ground earthling pipe installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ruchi Singla; Dr. Dinesh Arora; Dr. Parveen Singla; Sonia Jindal; Ritu Sharma; Jaspreet Kaur; Kartikay; Tejas; and Mayank.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A ground earthling pipe installation device, comprising a cuboidal housing 1 positioned on a ground surface, an auger bit 2 attached to the housing 1 for digging of a pit in the ground surface, a clamp 3 provided on the housing 1 to drop the pipe into the pit, an imaging unit 4 installed on the housing 1 to determine position of dug pit, a container 5, attached to the housing 1 for storing a filler mixture, an L-shaped telescopic bar 6 installed with the housing 1 for delivering the filler mixture in the pit via holding a nozzle, a water tank 7 provided in the housing 1 to deliver the water into the pit filled with the material, a speaker 8 provided on the housing 1 to generate audio alert for a user and a microphone 9 provided on the housing 1 for receiving audio command from the user."
