MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514089251 A) filed by Illinois Tool Works Inc., Glenview, U.S.A., on Sept. 18, 2025, for 'grommet apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Vollmer, Gerit; and Sbongk, Albert.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to the invention, a grommet apparatus is provided for the passage of lines through a substantially slot-shaped component opening.
