MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024889 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'grill embedded cooking system.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A grill embedded cooking system, comprising a framework 1 installed in a cabinet grill, a microphone integrated in the framework 1 to receive user's input, plurality of plates 2 arranged in the framework 1 to accommodate multiple eatables, a ball and socket joint for providing rotating movement to the links 3 along with the plates 2 for permitting heat to get experienced on the eatables thoroughly, an imaging unit 4 installed in the framework 1 to monitor cooking status of the eatables, a robotic clipper 5 arranged in between the plate 2 and the link to get disengaged for placing the plate 2 accommodating the cooked eatable on a sliding unit 6, a flap 7 arranged in the framework 1 via a hinge joint 8 to get opened, followed by actuation of the sliding unit 6 to translate the placed plate 2 towards the opened flap 7."
