MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202523104738 A) filed by Dr. Hemangee Abhay Jambhekar; Dr. Swarali Hirlekar; and Vibhusha Bhushan Jambhekar, Pune, Maharashtra, on Oct. 30, for 'green synthesis of nanomaterials and a method thereof.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention directs towards a method for manufacturing of nanomaterials by green synthesis. The method uses botanical extracts and biomaterials for green synthesis of nanoparticles. The botanical extracts and biomaterials are potentised to reduce their consumption, improve process consistency, reliability, increase stability and increase the shelf-life of the nanoparticles."
