MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521124838 A) filed by Kpi Green Hydrogen And Ammonia Private Limited, Surat, Gujarat, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'green hydrogen- lpg hybrid co-firing and safety control system for large-scale industrial galvanization furnace.'

Inventor(s) include Robbi Rajasekharam.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a green hydrogen, and LPG blending and delivery system for supplying a regulated hybrid gaseous fuel to an industrial galvanization furnace. The system comprises a green hydrogen supply line (101) having a pressure regulator (102), proportional control valve (103), non-return valve (104), flow sensor (105) and optional dryer (106), and an LPG supply line (111) having a pressure regulator (112), safety shut-off valve (113), vaporizer (114), flow sensor (115) and pressure sensor (116). Both fuel streams are connected to a blending manifold (121) having proportioning valves (122), flashback arrestors (123), pressure and temperature sensors (124, 125) and a mixing chamber (126) for producing a homogeneous fuel. A burner assembly (131) having a premix structure (132), flame sensor (133) and pressure balancer (134) combusts the mixture. A controller (141) dynamically regulates green hydrogen admission, while a safety-interlock architecture (150-155) executes independent isolation and inert purging to ensure continuous LPG fallback operation."
