MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621013450 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Feb. 7, for 'greasing device for vehicle joints.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Dilipkumar S. Patel.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A greasing device for vehicle joints, comprising a platform 101, an input means 113 regarding initiation of a greasing operation on a vehicle joint, an imaging unit 102 to determine an exact location and orientation of the vehicle joint, a plurality of extendable rods 103 each having a motorized wheel 104 at the end to position the platform 101 in vicinity to the vehicle joint, a scissor lift arrangement 105 to position a body 106 in adjustable height alignment with the vehicle joint, a hollow tube 107 having a motorized iris lid 108 to adjust its opening diameter, secure engagement with the zerk fitting, an electronic nozzle 110 to dispense grease into the hollow tube 107 open side, the grease flowing through the tube 107 and passing via the iris lid 108."
