MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113707 A) filed by Krishan Kumar, New Delhi, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'graph-theoretical system for synthetic construction and analysis of glioma brain networks using vertex addition.'
Inventor(s) include Alisha; Kanishk Tolani; Tanuja Kumari Sharma; Bhavna Sharma; Syyada Shumaila Khurshid; and Dr. Krishan Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a system and method for modeling glioma emergence and growth using graph theory. The system constructs a normal brain network from MRI data, then introduces synthetic tumor vertices derived from abnormal MRI segmentation to generate abnormal brain networks. By applying vertex addition operations and adjacency weight analysis, the system quantifies disruptions in brain connectivity due to tumor onset and growth. This provides a framework for glioma analysis, synthetic data generation, and future machine learning applications in healthcare diagnostics."
