MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018723 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'grains transferring assistive device for sacks.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Radha Prasanna Dalai.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A grains transferring assistive device for sacks, comprising a a ring-shaped body 101 installed with an opening carved at a base portion of a sack stored with grains, a pair of C-shaped pointed members 102 attached with the body 101 for securing the body 101 with the sack, a motorized iris lid 103 embedded within the body 101 to open for allowing transfer of the grains from the sack to the ground surface, a motorized roller 104 installed with the body 101 via an L-shaped telescopically operated link 105 to extend for positioning the roller 104 in contact with the grains to rotate the rollers 104 for evenly spreading the grains on the ground surface and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 106 mounted on the body 101 for detecting distance of the body 101 from the ground surface."
