Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Grain Flour And Process Of Preparation Thereof' Filed by The University Of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences And Technology

MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076859 A) filed by The University Of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences And Technology, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Oct. 10, 2024, for 'grain flour and process of preparation thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a grain flour and a process for preparing the grain flour having at least '3 g' water absorption capacity per 'g' grain flour for the grains selected from rice, wheat, rye, oats, barley, millet, or maize. The grain flour so obtained is used in preparing dough having improved sheetability and extensibility, suitable for processing."
