MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007461 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'grain drying assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ramachandran T.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A grain drying assistive device, comprises of a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface spread with grains, a touch enabled screen 2 is plotted on the to give input commands for evenly spreading and collecting the grains, a camera 3 mounted on the housing 1 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, a motorized roller 4 equipped with plurality of L-shaped extendable members 5 connected with the housing 1 via a pair of hydraulic rods 6 for spreading the grains for drying the grains in sunlight, a moisture sensor positioned on each of the member for detecting drying of the grains, a suction unit 8 mounted on the housing 1 for withdrawing and collecting the grains in a chamber paired with the suction unit 8, and a weight sensor embedded within the chamber for detecting weight of the grains collected within the chamber."
