MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010106 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'grain collection and packaging device.'

Inventor(s) include Neeraj Kaushik; and Kul Bhushan Anand.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A grain collection and packaging device, comprising a platform 1 attached with inverted U-shaped handle 2, multiple wheels 17 to move platform 1, a touch enabled screen 4 to initiate grain collection, a camera 5 for capturing images of ground surface, a laser projection unit 6 to guide user, a motorized shaft 7 equipped with Archimedes screw blade 8 to accumulate grains, a suction unit 9 to withdraw grains, a chamber 12 to collect grain, a conveyer 13 equipped with plurality of flaps to transferring grains, a plate 10 carved with multiple of pores at chamber 12 bottom to sieve grain, a vibrating unit 11 to vibrate the plate 10, a weight sensor to detect grain weight, a pair of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 14 with a pair of blocks 15 to position in contact with grain sack, a heating unit 16 on blocks 15 to seal sack mouth portion."
