MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024920 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'grain bag packaging device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A grain bag packaging device comprises of a platform 1 configured with plurality of motorized wheels 2 positioned on a ground surface, a sliding plate 3 assembled on the platform 1 for collecting grains, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing unit 5 integrated mapped on the platform 1 for detecting the grains, a c-shaped unit connected to the platform 1 via a motorized hinge for collecting the grains, a touch interactive display panel 6 mapped on the platform 1 for notifying the user, plurality of collecting bags 7 positioned on the platform 1 for transferring the grains, a motorized slider 8 configured with a pair of L-shaped rods 9 integrated with a c-shape clamping unit 10 mapped on the platform 1 to grip the bags 7 and position over a platform 1, a motorized roller 11 installed on the platform 1 to provide a grain packed bags 7."
