MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011178 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'goods unloading assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A goods unloading assistive device, comprising a frame 101 having a platform 102 developed to be in contact with trailer portion of a goods vehicle, motorized clamping unit 103 grips trailer portion of the vehicle for securing the frame 101, display panel 104 enabling a user to give input commands for unloading of objects from the vehicle, a camera 105 for capturing images of the trailer, a L-shaped telescopically operated rod 106 positions a plate 107 in proximity to the detected object, a first motorized drawer arrangement 108 modulates dimensions of the plate 107 for accommodating object, robotic grippers 109 position the object over the plate 107, curved shaped members 110 positions the object over the structure, a second drawer arrangement 112 extends the members 110, electromagnets 113 for securing the object the platform 102 and sliders 114 position the goods from the trailer to the ground surface."
