MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019713 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'goods loading assistive device for heavy vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jaivir Singh; and Dr. Kanhaiya Lal.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A goods loading assistive device for heavy vehicles, comprising a rectangular shape extendable frame 1 positioned on ground surface near container, a computing unit accessed by user for feeding command for aligning frame 1 with container, a camera 2 mounted on frame 1 for detecting height of container, four telescopically operated rods 3 configured with frame 1 which extend/retract to align frame 1 with container, a suction cup 4 is attached with each of rods 3 for adhering frame 1 on ground surface, a set of curved-shaped members 5 get oriented by motorized pivot joints 6 to form a ramp for loading goods, plurality of pneumatic pins 7 configured on each of members 5 which extend for preventing goods from sliding back towards ground surface, an angle sensor detects angle of frame 1 with respect to ground surface and accordingly rods 3 are extended/retracted."
