MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020411 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'goods/ cargo raising/ lowering assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sasmeeta Tripathy.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A goods/ cargo raising/ lowering assistive device, comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface inside an enclosure and installed with a plate 102, a touch enabled screen 103 installed on the platform 101 for enabling a user to give input commands for uplifting goods/ cargo, a camera 104 mounted on plate 102 for detecting dimensions of the goods/ cargo, a scissor lift arrangement 105 integrated in between platform 101 and plate 102, a hydraulic actuator 106 integrated with scissor arrangements for positioning plate 102 at an user-specified height from the surface, plurality of weight sensors are embedded on the plate 102 for detecting weight distribution of the goods/ cargo over the plate 102, a speaker 107 mounted over platform 101 in view of notifying individual(s) regarding excessive weight, multiple electromagnetic springs 108 integrated with for absorbing and reducing vibrations during lowering/ uplifting process."
