MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010764 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'golf play assistance device.'
Inventor(s) include Rahul Vishnoi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A golf play assistance device, comprising a cylindrical body 1 developed to be utilized by a user for accommodating body 1 inside hole within golf course, a laser acuity sensor installed on body 1 for detecting dimension of hole, an extendable pulley arrangement 2 to expand/contract body 1 for increasing/decreasing diameter of body 1, a drawer arrangement 3 configured with body 1 to extend/retract for increasing/decreasing length of body 1, a primary circular disc 4 by means of pair of electromagnetic spring 5 initially in energized state resulting in expansion of spring 5 that lounges ball from body 1, a microphone 6 that is accessed by user for providing voice command regarding closing of hole and an extendable shaft 7 installed within body 1 to retract for positioning a secondary circular disc 8 assembled with shaft 7 at mouth portion of body 1 for covering body 1."
