Inventor(s) include Dr. R. Gayathri; Vishal Maheshwaran; Lithkesh Balaji; Hareharan S; and Siddiq Arya.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The "Golden Hour" refers to the crucial first hour after a medical emergency. Timely intervention during this period greatly boosts patient survival rates. In crowded urban areas, delays in ambulance routing and poor hospital selection can waste important Golden Hour time. This paper introduces GoldenRoute, an intelligent emergency routing system that considers the Golden Hour. It aims to improve ambulance decision-making by using real-time information about hospital resources. The system pulls data on emergency room (ER) beds, intensive care unit (ICU) capacity, specialist availability, and travel times. It then suggests the best hospital to go to during the Golden Hour. Unlike traditional routing systems that only focus on distance, GoldenRoute uses constraintbased filtering to rule out hospitals that can't offer immediate care within the Golden Hour. Additionally, the system gathers and reviews historical emergency data to find patterns of resource shortages and delays that affect Golden Hour efficiency. The analytical part of the system helps pinpoint high-risk areas where Golden Hour effectiveness is hindered by infrastructure issues. These findings aid in making informed decisions about increasing hospital capacity, adding ER beds, and strategically deploying specialists. The proposed system improves both immediate emergency response and long-term 0 healthcare planning. This ultimately enhances Golden Hour outcomes and lowers mortality co in urgent situations."
