MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023590 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'globe observing assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sakuldeep Singh; and Munesh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A globe observing assistive device, comprising, a circular platform 1 installed over a fixed surface and by means of multiple suction cups 2, a curved extendable plate 7 by means of an electromagnetic spring 8 that is accessed by a user to position a globe over the plate 7, an artificial intelligence based imaging to determine dimension of the globe, a motorized drawer arrangement to provide appropriate extension to the plate 7 for accommodating the globe over the plate 7 in an appropriate manner, a C-shaped extendable rod 6 in extend in accordance with the detected dimensions and position free end of the rod 6 over apex portion of the globe, and a telescopic bar to extend and position a primary suction unit 12 in contact with the apex portion that actuates to grip the apex portion."
