MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010061 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'glassware storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A glassware storage device, comprising a rectangular frame 1 accommodated in a compartment for storing multiple glassware in a safe manner, a camera 2 is installed on frame 1 for capturing multiple images of compartment in which frame 1 is being accommodated by user, a drawer arrangement 3 integrated with frame 1 to extend/retract for enabling user to accommodate frame 1 within compartment, a motorized extendable slider 4 mounted with multiple extendable shafts 5 to translate each of shafts 5 at distance for allowing user to utilize shafts 5 for positioning each of glassware, a laser acuity sensor detects dimension of glassware that is being stored by user, a moisture sensor fabricated on frame 1 for detecting moisture on glassware and a robotic link 6 equipped with a sponge 7 configured with frame 1 for cleaning detected moisture via sponge 7 in order to prevent water stains on glassware."
