According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart, frictionless multi-sport slot-booking and venue-management system. The system provides a digital ecosystem, referred to as GET SET Play, for on-demand and scheduled access to courts, pools, gyms and arenas, supporting hour-level bookings and flexible time scheduling, payments (with the option of partial payment and automated refunds) and QR code contactless entry; optional user-generated accounts for loyalty and coupons; powerful venue owner management for checks ins, scheduling and revenue insights. The platform is developed using a TypeScript-first technology stack and employs Redis caching and WebSocket communication to ensure real-time availability updates and conflict-free booking allocation. The invention emphasizes fairness through race-condition-free booking architecture, enhanced accessibility through OTP-based secure sign-ins, and increased revenue potential through dynamic reveal of sub-hour or shorter-duration slots. By optimizing facility utilization and reducing idle capacity, the invention modernizes community sports infrastructure and provides a seamless, efficient, and scalable solution for facility users and venue operators."
