MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004067 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'geographical information displaying device.'

Inventor(s) include Pulkit Jain.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a geographical information displaying device comprising a circular platform 1 placed on a fixed surface and installed with a C-shape member 2 arranged with a globe, via a link, a touch enabled screen 4 installed on platform 1 accessed by user to give input commands for fetching location of a place, a microcontroller activates an internet module installed with microcontroller for fetching country and state located with user-defined place, a camera 5 installed on platform 1 for capturing and detecting exact location of user and region of globe lying in front of user, a pir of motorized pin joints 6 attached in between globe and member 2s for rotating globe with respect to member 2 to position fetched country on globe in front of user, and a laser projection unit 7 for projecting laser beam to point at fetched state in fetched country."
