Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Genetically Modified Host Cells Producing Violacein Analogues And Derivatives Thereof' Filed by Octarine Bio Aps

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036137 A) filed by Octarine Bio Aps, Copenhagen, Denmark, on April 14, for 'genetically modified host cells producing violacein analogues and derivatives thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Milne Nicholas Stuart William; Nielsen Annette Munch; Izquierdo Javier Fuentes; Missagia De Marco Leticia; and Baden Camilla Knudsen.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
