MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511122568 A) filed by Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 5, 2025, for 'generative ai with real-time emotional sentiment tuning.'
Inventor(s) include Shilpa Sharma; and Dr. Vijay Mohan Shrimal.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a generative AI system equipped with real-time emotional sentiment tuning to enhance human-AI interaction. The system continuously detects a user's emotional state through text behaviour, voice tone, and interface reactions, and dynamically adapts the emotional tone of generated content during the response creation process. By integrating sentiment detection directly into the generative loop, the system fine-tunes language style, such as empathetic, humorous, motivational, or calming, based on user needs. A continuous feedback mechanism further refines tone preferences and emotional alignment over time, enabling personalized, context-aware communication. This emotionally adaptive approach improves user satisfaction and supports applications in mental health assistance, creative writing, education, and customer engagement. The invention transforms traditional AI into a responsive, emotionally intelligent communicator."
