MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090275 A) filed by Asahi Kasei Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, on Sept. 22, for 'gas separation apparatus, method for managing gas separation apparatus, gas separation method, and method for producing purified gas.'

Inventor(s) include Okubo, Atsushi; and Akaogi, Takayuki.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a gas separation apparatus for separating carbon dioxide from a mixed gas containing the carbon dioxide, the apparatus being provided with: an adsorption tower in which an adsorbent capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide is filled; a mixed gas supply line through which the mixed gas is introduced into the adsorption tower; a carbon dioxide recovery line through which carbon dioxide is removed from the adsorption tower; a pressure-reducing device which is connected to the carbon dioxide recovery line; and a pressure difference measurement unit which measures a pressure loss ?P due to the adsorption tower."
