MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060184 A) filed by Jfe Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on June 24, for 'galvanized steel sheet and member, and production methods therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Hata Katsuya; Terashima Shotaro; Nakagaito Tatsuya; and Tsuda Seisuke.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a galvanized steel sheet which combines high strength, high YS, excellent ductility, and excellent hole expansion properties. The base steel sheet has a predetermined component composition, steel structure, and amount of diffusible hydrogen. In particular, in the steel structure of the base steel sheet, the number density of the MnS particle group and MC/MQ are properly controlled, and the amount of diffusible hydrogen in the base steel sheet is reduced."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/037921.
