MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414089195 A) filed by Mitsuba Corporation, Gunma, Japan, on Nov. 18, 2024, for 'fuel supply device.'

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fuel supply device (1) includes: a fuel pump (4), having an electric motor part (15) and a pump part, and in which the electric motor part 15 and the pump part are arranged along a rotation axis of the electric motor part (15); a power supply terminal (27a, 27b, 27c), provided to protrude from an end part of the fuel pump in a direction of the rotation axis and supplying power to the electric motor; and a wall part (37), provided at the end part of the fuel pump and surrounding a periphery of the power supply terminal. When a posture of the fuel pump is arranged in a posture at which the rotation axis is along a horizontal direction, the power supply terminal is disposed to be separated upward with respect to a position serving as a bottom part of the wall part."
