MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005334 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'frying pan manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Jagwinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a frying pan manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 arranged with a chamber 2 for storing metal sheets, a touch interactive display panel 15 installed on housing 1 accessed by a user for entering commands regarding size of frying pan that the user desire to manufacture, a first robotic gripper 4 installed inside housing 1 for withdrawing and placing one of sheets over a platform 7 installed inside housing 1, a two-axis sliding unit 5 attached on ceiling portion of housing 1 for providing movement to a laser cutter 6 attached with sliding unit 5 for cutting the sheet in accordance with the user specified command, a motorized conveyor 8 attached adjacent to platform 7 for translating sheet towards a furnace 9 attached inside housing 1 for heating sheet, and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 11 for capturing and detecting successful bending of sheet."
