MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025983 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'frozen desert holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A frozen desert holding device, comprising of a cylindrical hollow body 1 developed to accommodate a frozen desert and attached with a handle 2 that is gripped by a user for handing the body 1, a microphone 3 to give voice commands for securing the frozen desert, an imaging unit 5 mounted on body 1 for detecting type of the desert, multiple curved-shaped members 10 via multiple motorized hinges 9 for tilting and deploying the members 10 in view of securely gripping the desert, a telescopically operated link 8 attached with a motorized clipper 11 for gripping stick of the frozen desert, a telescopically operated pusher 7 to gradually extend in view of allowing user to consume entire desert comfortably, and a plate 6 via a telescopically operated rod 12 to extend for collecting melted desert on the plate 6 to prevent any stains on cloth of the user."
