Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Front Structure Of A Motor Vehicle' Filed by Renault S. A. S.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046861 A) filed by Renault S. A. S., Boulogne Billancourt, France, on May 15, for 'front structure of a motor vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Gillon, Julien.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a front structure of a motor vehicle. It comprises: a floor (12) and a bulkhead (14) erected on the floor, the bulkhead (14) extending transversely between two lateral uprights (20, 22); a dashboard cross-member (24) having two opposite ends (38, 40) and extending along the bulkhead (14) to be able to receive a steering column support (42) and an airbag support (46). The dashboard cross-member (24) is rigidly attached to the bulkhead (14) and the two opposite ends (38, 40) extend freely respectively away from the two lateral uprights (20, 22)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/082129.
