MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641017283 A) filed by River Mobility Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 16, for 'front body protector for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Akshay Dayalal; Akhilesh Pradhan; Jai Kishan Shubhankar; and Abhijeeth B Bhat.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure generally relates to vehicle safety accessories, and more particularly relates to front body protector (100) for vehicle. The front body protector (100) includes front protective member (102) including proximal end and distal end, configured to extend along front portion of vehicle to shield functional components disposed proximal the front portion of the vehicle. Further, proximal end includes flat U-shaped structure adapted to conform to front profile of vehicle, and distal end includes tubular structures extending from flat U-shaped structure of the proximal end. Furthermore, the front body protector (100) includes mounting brackets (402) coupled to front protective member (102), each mounting brackets (402) is configured to removably attached to functional components of vehicle. Additionally, front body protector (100) includes clamp assembly (104) configured to releasably couple pre-defined shape of front protective member to load bearing component of vehicle, for load transfer to load bearing component of vehicle."
