MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018881 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'fritters preparation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Mohit Rastogi; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fritters preparation assistive device, comprises of a rectangular frame 1 configured with a set of curved-shaped extendable members 4 that are to be filled with batter to be utilized for preparing fritters, a touch enabled screen 5 to give input commands regarding number and dimensions of the fritters that are to be prepared at once, a flap 6 configured with each of the members 4 via a pair of L-shaped links 7 utilize in spreading the batter, a pair of motorized sliders 8 configured between each of the links 7 and members 4 for translating the links 7 to evenly fill the members 4 with the batter, a camera 9 mounted on the handle 2 for capturing multiple images of surroundings, and a laser projection unit 10 mounted on the handle 2 for projecting a laser beam to guide the user in holding the frame 1 above the utensil."
