MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069408 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on July 21, for 'frequency domain resources for harvesting energy and backscattering.'

Inventor(s) include Abedini, Navid; Dasala, Keerthi, Priya; Wang, Xiaojie; Luo, Jianghong; Luo, Tao; and Li, Junyi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a device may receive a first signal in a first set of frequency domain resources. The device may harvest energy using the first signal. The device may receive a second signal in a second set of frequency domain resources. The device may backscatter modulated data using the second signal. Numerous other aspects are described."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 27, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/017451.
