MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547094313 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Sept. 30, for 'framework for multiple transport block scheduling.'
Inventor(s) include Oved, Tal; Kutz, Gideon Shlomo; and Touboul, Assaf.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A Multi Incremental Redundancy Scheme (MIRS) may be a spectral efficiency (SPEF) adaptation scheme for finding an optimal SPEF for transmission of a transport block. A network may transmit a scheduling and signaling framework to allow for multiple transport blocks to be scheduled in a single downlink resource allocation for transmissions that utilize MIRS. For example, a network may schedule a single resource allocation for the transmission of multiple transport blocks from the network to the UE. The multiple transport blocks may include at least an initial transmission of a new transport block and/or retransmissions for any transport blocks from previous allocations that a receiver was not able to decode successfully."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 06, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/027961.
