MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005333 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'four-wheeler vehicle stabilizing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A four-wheeler vehicle stabilizing device for accident prevention, comprises a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface in proximity to a four-wheeler vehicle having one of tires off-road, a camera 2 mounted on the platform 1 for capturing multiple images of the vehicle, a set of motorized omnidirectional wheels 3 configured underneath the platform 1 for maneuvering and positioning the platform 1 underneath centre portion of the vehicle, a pair of rods 4 having first ends configured with a plate 5 and second ends installed with the platform 1 via a pair of motorized sliders 6 for translating platform 1 in a manner to position appropriately position the vehicle over road, thereby stabilizing the vehicle, and a pair of hinges 7 are configured between the rods 4 and sliders 6 that allows tilting of the rods 4 with respect to platform 1 during translation second ends towards/away from each other."
