MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521060744 A) filed by Ms. Shraddha Mahajan; Ms. Saloni Yadav; Mr. Ravi Sharma; Mr. Ashish Gupta; Ms. Devshree Gayakwad; Ms. Akshita Vyas; Dr. Sweta S. Koka; Dr. Sumeet Dwivedi; Dr. Pravin Kumar Sharma; and Dr. G. N. Darwhekar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on June 25, for 'formulation and evaluation of herbo-mineral facial scrub.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the formulation and evaluation of a herbo-mineral facial scrub composed of natural plant-based and mineral ingredients. The scrub incorporates neem, tulsi, orange peel, walnut shell powder, multani mitti, aloe vera, and other botanicals known for their exfoliating, antimicrobial, and skin-soothing properties. The formulation is designed to gently remove dead skin cells, cleanse pores, and rejuvenate the skin without the use of synthetic chemicals. Evaluation parameters such as pH, grittiness, spreadability, washability, stability, and microbial safety confirm the scrub's suitability for all skin types. The product maintains a skin-friendly pH (~6.1), exhibits excellent stability over time, and remains free from harmful microorganisms. This eco-friendly and effective facial scrub offers a safe, multifunctional, and natural alternative to commercial chemical-based exfoliants."
