MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117028 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'forefoot supporting and stability enhancement device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A forefoot supporting and stability enhancement device, comprising a wearable frame 101 having a base 102 and multiple openings 103 worn on front portion of user's foot, a LiDAR sensor for scanning forefoot contours, a drawer arrangement adjust size of frame 101, a sweat sensor detect presence of sweat on user's forefoot, a Peltier unit 105 providing an appropriate heating/cooling effect for regulating temperature of user's forefoot, an impact sensor for detecting sudden impacts experienced by user's forefoot, a shock absorber 104 for absorbing impact and prevents user from losing balance, a sensing module for detection of movement, muscle tension and excessive sweat, to send a wireless notification to a computing unit."
