MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517120668 A) filed by Marlow Foods Limited., Stokesley, U.K., on Dec. 2, 2025, for 'foodstuff.'

Inventor(s) include Meijer, Willem Cornelis; Taylor, Anna Jayne; and Hafkamp, Albertus Antonius Gerardus.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A foodstuff, for example a high protein, vegan cheese, comprises a filamentous fungus, for example Fusarium venenatum and an ingredient (A), wherein said ingredient (A) comprises at least 50 wt%, preferably at least 80wt%, of protein and wherein said foodstuff includes at least 5.0 wt%, preferably at least 8.0wt%, of protein on a dry mass basis."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 03, 2024, under International application No.PCT/GB2024/051163.
