MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019425 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'food item cooking assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Shreshta Bandhu Rastogi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A food item cooking assistive device, comprises of a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a fixed surface segregated into multiple compartments 2 for storing multiple needle-link elongated members 10, a user provides input over a screen 3 for monitoring while the food is getting cooked, a camera 4 to detect dimension and type of the food-item, a motorized clamp 5 for gripping the members 10, a speaker 6 to notify the user to insert members 10 within the food, an inverted T-shaped extendable unit 9 installed on each member 10 to extend and position in contact with the fixed surface, a motorized ball and socket joint 7 configured with the members 10 for flipping the food-items for allowing cooking of the food, a sensing module to detect color and temperature of the food while getting cooked and the speaker 6 to notify user regarding cooked food."
