MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117031 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'food cooking device.'

Inventor(s) include Prakash Meena.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A food cooking device comprises of a housing 101 with an insulated outer body and an access door on a front portion, a motorized rotatable drum 102 being divided into a plurality of isolated compartments 103, each hold separate food items, a load sensor to detect weight of the food items over the compartments 103, an imaging unit 104 to capture multiple images of the stored food items, a heating element to provide heat to the food items as per corresponding required food temperatures for cooking the food items, a timer module to track cooking duration per compartment, a motorized dual-direction intermittent rotation unit to rotate the drum 102 alternately in clockwise and counterclockwise directions at predefined intervals to ensure uniform cooking and steam distribution across all compartments 103."
