MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026172 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'food cooking assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Hamid; R. K. Jain; Anil Kumar; and Anuj Goyal.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A food cooking assistive device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 installed with a cooking utensil 2 in which food item is to be cooked, a touch enabled screen 3 installed on the body 1 for enabling a user to give input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on the body 1 for detecting type of food item, an L-shaped member 5 installed on the body 1 and installed with a stirrer 6 to rotate for stirring the food item and are collected within a platform 7 installed within the body 1, a water chamber 8 installed with the utensil 2 for dispensing water in view of rinsing the utensil 2 and a suction unit 9 configured with the member 5 for generating vacuum pressure to withdraw the water from the utensil 2."
