Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Fluorine-Containing Compound And Method For Producing Fluorine-Containing Compound' Filed by Agc Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057955 A) filed by Agc Inc., Tokyo, on June 17, for 'fluorine-containing compound and method for producing fluorine-containing compound.'

Inventor(s) include Kawakami Takafumi; Hayashi Tomohiro; Sakai Takayuki; and Aoyama Motoshi.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A production method for a fluorine containing compound wherein an organic compound having at least one atom that can be fluorinated is fluorinated in a liquid containing said organic compound to obtain a fluorine containing compound that is a fluorinated substance in which the average number of atoms that can be fluorinated per molecule is at least 0.01."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 15, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/041156.
