MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441038410 A) filed by Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute For Medical Sciences And Technology; and Government Engineering College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on May 16, 2024, for 'fluorescence mapping system for optical pathology.'

The system comprises an optical probe developed to provide excitation for the fluorescence and collection of the same from the tissue sample mounted on an XY stage, capable of movement in accordance with the user requirement."
