MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023498 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'floor mat installation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Arun Kumar Pipersenia.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A floor mat installation assistive device, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface being installed with a floor mat, a touch screen 2 installed on the housing 1 for enabling a user to give input commands, a camera 3 mounted on the housing 1 for detecting exact location of the floor mat on the ground surface, a plate 4 installed with the housing 1 for positioning the plate 4 in contact with the floor mat, plurality of suction units 5 configured on bottom portion of the plate 4 for securing the plate 4 with surface of the floor mat, a vibrating unit 6 integrated with the plate 4 for generating vibrational sensations to facilitate in removal of the air bubble, thus ensuring accurate installation of the floor mat on the surface and a speaker 7 mounted on the housing 1 for notifying the user regarding the detected crack."
