MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011276 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'floatable bridge installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Rahul Vishnoi; and Arun Kumar Pipersenia.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A floatable bridge installation device, comprises of a primary and secondary housing 1, 2 positioned on a ground surface near waterbody, a camera 3 mounted on housing captures images of surrounding that is displayed on a touch enabled screen 4 from which user needs to select a location where bridge is to be installed, multiple wheels 5 to move the housings at location, and then the primary member 6 anchors housing into surface and then the secondary housing 2 moves towards other side of waterbody resulting in unwrapping of inflatable body 12 and flat tube 13 wrapped on a roller 10 and spool 11 to lay the body and tube over waterbody, a sonar module to detect depth of water and then, telescopic shafts support tube over water followed by pumping of water and air into tube and body respectively as means of installing bridge."
