MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541116578 A) filed by Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'flexible energy system with solar and fuel cell.'

Inventor(s) include Sree Ram S N; Lingesh Datta B; Rithik R; and Dr. I. Aruldoss Adaikalam.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention relates to a Fuel Cell Solar Hybrid Energy System designed for uninterrupted power supply applications. The system integrates a solar photovoltaic array and a fuel cell unit with a hybrid power management controller. Surplus solar energy is utilized for hydrogen generation via electrolysis, and the stored hydrogen powers the fuel cell during non-solar periods. The intelligent hybrid controller ensures continuous, clean, and efficient energy delivery to critical loads, making the system suitable for decentralized and sustainable power solutions."
